A Beautiful Light Was Extinguished Today

post image

I am saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Michael Jackson, a soul who through his artistry touched the lives of hundreds of millions of people. He provided the soundtrack for our lives. His music and his genius transcended boundaries of race, language, nationality, religion and socio-economic backgrounds.

I ask that in the coming days you focus on the good that he did on this planet and the legacy of brilliance that he leaves behind.

Come and Get Your Wings

post image

You are an instrument for change. You have remembered who you are. You have experienced your light. Many of you have awakened to amazing talents, gifts and abilities. Lives are miraculously transforming before your eyes. The ground work has been prepared and now is the time for each of you to step into your mastery.

This Little Light of Mine

post image

When Jan and I were in Chicago a few weeks ago, I shared a heartwarming, true story about the most unlikely of friends with two classes of four- and five-year-old enthusiastic youngsters at Terrace Elementary School.  It is an amazing tale about finding purpose in the most implausible of circumstances. Polar opposites let their light shine for one another creating a bond that has made them two of the most visited animals in the world. Owen is an abandoned, 600 pound baby hippopotamus and Mzee is a 130-year-old giant tortoise.

The children were mesmerized as they…
