An Evening of Kirtan

Baba Muktananda
Chanting on Wednesday night in Delray Beach was so much fun! Sharing with you in this way was a real treat.
Chanting is not about having a beautiful voice or even singing in the right key. It is about expressing your love freely and fully without restraint. A profound thank you to Jeff Dean, our talented drummer, who helped ensure the chants soared to ecstatic heights. We rocked out.
I remember old videos of Baba Muktananda jumping up and down in his chair reveling in the ecstasy of the Divine name. The energy would flow through him so powerfully that his voice was irrelevant. All who came into his presence were filled with a love beyond description. In India Chanting is a spiritual practice not a performance art. Its sole purpose is to energetically cleanse the body of limiting energies thereby elevating one’s vibration.
I was honored to dedicate last night to my grandmother Shanti Desai, a woman who loved to chant. I would like to thank my family for the foundation of spirituality that they gave me and thank the Divine for allowing me to be who I am today. I thank all of those who have come before me as shining examples of how - as spiritual beings - we are really one divine family. May we embrace each other as the saints and sages of India embraced each other with complete and total love…
We sang, we danced and we become one voice, one heart and one energy. We are one.

Yes, indeed we did rock the Duncan Center, the happiest day of my life. You reminded us of the true meaning of chanting God’s name and true love for the God. We do not need good voices or an orchestra. We just need true devotion to the God. Well done. “BA” is watching you where ever she is all the time and she is indeed very proud of you. What a Great Grandson and amazing son. May God bless you! Keep up the good work. This planet needs more sons like you. I pray to God nothing comes in your way to stop you doing good work for humanity. What a blessing to a have son like you.

I have to share with you that the chanting with you was the most ecstatic I’ve ever experienced, even with Baba and Gurumayi. I’m so blessed to have you, Jan, your Mum and Dad and the rest of the Panache ‘soul family’ as my true family!!
I love you eternally,
Marcy

Much more than fun, Panache…it was a myriad of experiences…cleansing, moving, joyful, ecstatic and profoundly unifying. We really were one Soul singing in love with the Divine in ourselves and opening our Hearts to ever deeper levels of feeling and unity. Your parents have every reason to be proud of the humble, loving manner in which you lead us out of our human limitations into the Reality of our True Being. I am grateful for your patient love and enormous generosity in sharing the Gift with me and appreciate the humor in its delivery! Please let’s keep chanting! I love you.

I am a level III Reiki Master, and the energy emanating from you TOTALY CHANGED MY POLARITY. It was like liberation from my ego to a place of Inner Peace. I feel so much more lighter and freer. I look forward to speaking with you at the Duncan Center in Delray. And if the Universe Allows I feel guided to be at Santa Barbara and New Orleans.

Wow!!! We did rock the house and blew the roof right off. What an amazing and ecstatic chant. Chanting has always been such an amazing experience for me, what a gift. The feeling of Love that wells up from inside of me is truly a gift of the Divine. It has been way too long since I have chanted. It was so great to be free, not being told how to chant or how loud. I look forward to more ecstatic chants in the future.
Rock on Panache!!!
Lots of Love….......Jimbo

Hi Panache, long time without see you.
Andreina and me were missing the wonderful time and experience that we had in your retreats and with you, was a pleasure to meet you.
I didn’t know that you had the privilege to meet Baba Muktananda. He was my guru and almost turned me into a Swami. I went to India to take my votes when he took samadi.
We hope to see you again in the Florida gathering.
God Bless you
