Joy To The World
Along your journey may you be blessed by life-changing events that bring unimaginable joy and celebration into your life.
Almost a year ago today, I experienced an event of such magnitude it changed the course of my life forever. On December 13, 2008, I married Jan Goldsmith.
Yes! Jan and I have successfully reached our first wedding anniversary for the most part happy and seemingly unscathed… an accomplishment that is truly cause for celebration (as the majority of marriages seem to be very short lived). It is said that if you make it through your first year of marriage, then there is hope for at least another three. There are some that say the first year of marriage is the hardest and after that life becomes easier. Contrarians say it’s all downhill from here.
When you find the one who makes your heart jump and your soul sing you know you are on to a good thing and Come What May, I look forward to continuing this blessed journey with my wife by my side for the rest of our lives. I have been blessed with a friend, a lover and a partner in ascension to see the golden age into being.
I love you, Jan and thank you for taking on the unenviable position of being Mrs. Desai.
Take a moment to listen to Whitney Houston’s gospel rendition of Joy to the World. We had the most jaw-dropping, spirit-filled gospel choir perform this piece as Jan and I walked down the aisle as newly announced husband and wife.

It does not seem possible that a year has passed since the fireworks lit up the sky in celebration on that amazing December evening one year ago.
