Thankgiving

Jan and I are sitting here together at the Atlanta airport trying to capture the perfect words that will communicate all that is possible for you this holiday week. You, as you are in this very moment, are a vehicle of love and light whose singular contribution can shift the way another sees him or herself and their world.  

On a disenfranchised planet, allow this week of Thanksgiving to be your springboard for open-heartedness and generosity of spirit. You embody Divine potential and whether you are surrounded by family and friends, or on your own, you are a grace bestowing vehicle who has been placed in the situations and circumstances that are unfolding around you for a reason.

For almost ten years, as I have traveled sharing this gift of vibrational transformation, I have found that most people who are on a path searching for connection, are unknowingly searching for acknowledgement, acceptance and love. These needs may come dressed up in different excuses and stories, but at the end of the day, it is these basic needs that fuel the majority of peoples’ behaviors.

That’s right, obnoxious, know-it-all Uncle Bob just wants to be acknowledged. Ex-wife Lucy desperately wants to be accepted. New-age grandma Celia wants to find nirvana.  Tuned-out cousin Kevin is hoping for unconditional love and stepdaughter Kate longs for a place to be heard and not judged. That angry homeless man who you pass by each time you go to the grocery store just wants a place to belong.

With each reflection of the Divine you are being given an opportunity to meet them with presence – which means being open and abiding in your heart.

So embrace all who you meet with love and know that in doing so you are allowing them to, in turn, vibrationally experience the truth of their own being. Your ability to remain spacious and in a place of non-judgment can fundamentally shift everyone’s experience and turn a once uncomfortable situation around.

This Thanksgiving BE the agent of change and hold space for your tribe. See them in their brilliance and dream the greater dream of who they are here to be.
